I tried configuring both router and firewall, but was unsuccessful. ( Any help anyone?

Have you tried disabling your firewall? Probably first step is figuring out which it is- firewall/router.

I turned UPnP on my router and turned on the UPnP service in windows. Auto-configures your firewall.

universal plug & play. some routers support it, some don't. if you have an older router (beyond 3-4 years) it potentially doesn't. it takes care of your nat translation for the game.
